HARRISBURG – Rep. Stephenie Scialabba (R-Butler) announced her office will be partnering with the Office of State Treasurer Stacy Garrity to help residents recover unclaimed property at no cost.
The most common examples of unclaimed property include money left behind in old insurance policies, inactive bank accounts and uncashed checks.
“One in 10 Pennsylvanians has unclaimed property,” said Scialabba. “Butler County has over $24.5 million in unclaimed property, and this event will help return it to the rightful owners.”
A representative from the PA Treasury will be in attendance on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at her district office in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, located at 2525 Rochester Road, Suite 201, Cranberry Township, 16066.
Please call Scialabba’s district office at 724-772-3110 to set up an appointment.
